At AnchorPoint Church, we believe that living out the gospel means caring for the whole person spiritually, physically, emotionally, and relationally. This commitment is embodied through Local Community Ventures (LCV), our church’s dedicated charitable arm. While LCV is a separate legal entity to with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status, it remains deeply connected to the heart of our church’s vision. We see its work as an essential expression of our commitment to loving our communities through tangible care and support. LCV exists to meet real needs in the Illawarra, Macarthur and Wollondilly regions. We provide practical assistance to individuals and families facing hardship. From food relief and emergency aid to education programs and community-building initiatives, every LCV project is designed to offer stability, dignity, and hope. While LCV is a secular charity with no religious requirements for participation, its work reflects the values of justice, compassion, and generosity that are at the core of AnchorPoint Church’s mission.
Recognising that people often need holistic support, LCV collaborates with local organisations, businesses, and government agencies to create a strong network of care. Through these partnerships, we can respond to needs more effectively, ensuring that no one has to face life’s challenges alone. As part of this network, AnchorPoint Church can offer optional spiritual support and community connections to those who wish to avail themselves of it. We encourage every member of AnchorPoint Church to see LCV as an opportunity to live out their faith through acts of kindness and generosity.
