LOCAL MINISTRY
Bringing Vision to Life. Each location has the freedom to tailor pastoral care and outreach to meet the unique needs of its community. Local teams craft Church services, organise special events, and manage prayer ministries—all with a focus on reflecting the heart of AnchorPoint Church in their context. By staying connected to our shared vision, local teams ensure that every ministry resonates with our True North Bearings.

Our Central Streams serve as the backbone of our church, providing support, resources, and strategic direction to ensure that every location thrives. Here’s how our Central Streams facilitate our shared mission —
GOVERNANCE AND OPERATIONS — Centralised management of accounting, IT, HR, compliance, and building operations allows local teams to focus on ministry while ensuring long-term operational sustainability.
VISION AND STRATEGIC ALIGNMENT — The Vision Team, led by the Lead Pastors, guides the spiritual direction and long-term strategy of the church. They shape 3-5 year plans and ensure that all locations align with our mission of “BELONG. BECOME. BUILD.” and vision of “TRANSFORMED LIVES. THRIVING LOCATIONS. TAKING LAND.”
MINISTRY TEAMS AND DISCIPLESHIP — This stream connects ministry leaders across locations for mutual encouragement and idea sharing. Dedicated Ministry Leaders oversee specific streams ensuring cohesive leadership and centralised training.
COMMUNICATIONS AND CULTURE ALIGNMENT — The Communications Stream manages social media, newsletters, and promotional materials to ensure consistent messaging. It also oversees facility aesthetics and visitor experiences, reflecting the church’s values.
COMBINED EVENTS — Cross-location events, such as conferences and camps, foster unity and shared purpose. This Central Stream handles logistics, enabling local teams to focus on ministry impact.
PRAYER AND SPIRITUAL SUPPORT — Our Central Prayer Stream facilitates cross-location prayer initiatives, including Freedom Prayer events and all-in prayer meetings. A centralised Vision Prayer Team aligns the church’s spiritual life with its mission.
MISSIONS STREAM — This Stream coordinates local and global mission efforts, ensuring alignment with the church’s vision. Through partnerships with organisations like Compassion and IJM and local outreach via our own charity, Local Community Ventures (LCV), it amplifies mission impact. This includes support for ecumenical activities, SRE, and grant-funded initiatives to grow mission capacity.
